Hold Up! Read this First!
Just to let any one new know that this is the third blog in a series of blogs. My first one is The Ultimate, and the link is located over in the Links bar, along with The Ultimate On The Run, which is the second blog.
But in case that is too confusing for you, I'll tell you about us right here on this little wall of text.
My name is Red Starbird, and I am a recombined life-form created by a government business called the Society. My history involves being in a coma until I was five and waking up to realize I was suspended in a test-tube. And then in the process of busting out of there, I flew for the first time in my life.
Yes, I have wings.
Black peregrine falcon wings that are tipped with gold. Anyway, I made myself a hide-out and then later found another mutant. She's part fox, and is named Trinity Farbane. She's also got a blog that you should visit, so you know her side of the story as well.
Then came Ulric, who's part wolf. He's your average testosterone-driven, girl-chasing prick, but really, he's not that bad. He and Trin have been dating since forever.
There had been another mutant named Aleron. He was part golden-eagle. He and I had been dating, but really, he was leading me on, and eventually betrayed us (see "On the Run" for more info on that).
Last blog, we had escaped from the labyrinth of Area 51, where they do all the experimentation. Us mutants call it the "Lair". Anyway, Aleron had fooled us into returning there. We escaped, along with another kid-mutant named Andy, who can read minds.
Later, after escaping, we found a guy called Dr. Gale Kephason. He is an ex-scientist who used to work for the Society. Andy could tell he was harmless. In fact, since Kephason quit, he's been dedicating his time into creating a safe haven for mutant escapees. Working there left him with a lot of money, you know.
Currently, we are living under his roof, along with three other mutants named Maxine, Axel, and Kyle. Maxine can levitate objects and make force-fields. Axel can run as fast as mach 3. Kyle can create and manipulate fire.
And this blog is the story of The Ultimate, living as mutants in society.
So have fun reading about our adventures.
